Would you like a new employe to be trained at Pima Medical Institute or Online Distance Programs? Assume these are our only two options
I am having trouble picking a Veterinarian Technician College program
I am stuck between PIMA medical institute or San Juan College Online Distance program
I want to go to pierce but I refuce to move and can not commute. (I live in Everett WA,)
Any advice?
Please be aware that "pima medical institute" is *only* nationally accredited in addition to it being one of those private overly priced For-profit schools. Their course credits usually do NOT transfer to other schools. Even those for-profit schools that are regionally accredited, such as devry, university of phoenix and strayer, (as opposed to just nationally accredited), their course credits still usually do *not* transfer to other schools.
Other such for-profit schools include kaplan, ITT tech, penn foster, argosy, keiser, brown mackie, ashworth, sanford brown, regis, excelsior, grand canyon, walden, everest, colorado tech, westwood and others.
This consumer site has a lot of negative posts by former students of those for-profit schools, and please heed the students’ warnings: http://www.complaintsboard.com and can search.
I don’t know anything personally about "san juan college" online either, but the literature says that they’re an independent community college. Between the two schools that you’d listed, perhaps "san juan college" is a much better choice.
